I have just subscribed to a new bi-monthly newsletter, "The Silent Treatment", by Steven Hill and Brandee Brannigan. It is a four-page Adobe Acrobat compendium of several short, to-the-point articles about the silent cinema. Articles include recent dvd releases, exhibits, and books. I particularly enjoyed "Moments in Silence", a list of important dates in silent movie history. I enjoyed it very much and look forward to the next issue.
