Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stanley Crouch, RIP -- September 20, 2020

Time Magazine

Most Americans were saddened to learn that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had died. She did much throughout her life for equality of the sexes and other important issues. Most Americans are afraid that Senate Leader Mitch McConnell will try to ram through the appointment of some mouth breather before the new year. This despite the fact that he would not let Barack Obama nominate a new justice during the whole year before the 2016 election.

I was sad to learn that author Stanley Crouch had died. He was a great writer. I did not always agree with him, but he always made me think. His specialty was writing about the blues and jazz.
