North Coast County Fire Authority Station 44 is on Gellert Boulevard in Daly City. I took the photo on 13-December-2010.

It was 44F when I got to the BART station this morning.

Firehouse #19 -- May 3, 2009

This house on Hickey was a firehouse until budget cuts some time ago. I took the photo last Saturday.

Yesterday when we got to church we went in the side door. Someone was kneeling there, poking under a table with an umbrella and a cane. He said there was a mouse. I got people to move away from the door and he was able to get the little grey fellow to go out and run for the hillside.

Manny Pacquiao beat Ricky Hatton in two rounds.

Firehouse #18 -- April 7, 2009

North Coast County Fire Authority Station 72 in the southern end of Pacifica. I took the photo on 06-September-2008. There are only two active firehouses left in Pacifica.


Today was Opening Day for the Giants. I was worried because it rained hard during the morning, but I got out for 30 minutes at lunch time and it only dribbled a bit. The Giants beat the Brewers 10-6.

Firehouse #17 -- March 5, 2009

North Coast County Fire Authority Station 71 in the northern end of Pacifica. I took the photo on 12-April-2008. There are only two active firehouses left in Pacifica.



I was sad to learn that ABC will not renew the American version of Life on Mars. We have been enjoying it.
