An article from the same issue says that San Francisco celebrated Christmas Eve with an open air concert at Geary, Market and Kearny, in front of the
San Francisco Chronicle building. The performers were John McCormick the famous Irish tenor and American soprano Madame Bernice de Pasquali. Mayor Sunny Jim Rolph sent a message.
