In 1920, Curtiss built two racing planes for Texas oilman Seymour E Cox. One was called the Texas Wildcat and the other the Cactus Kitten. This must be the Cactus Kitten because it has triplane wings. Notice that the triplane wings are not staggered. It placed second in the 1921 Pulitzer Trophy Race in Omaha.
The images are from the 1922 Aircraft Yearbook.
