The Curtiss Model 22 racers Cactus Kitten and Texas Wildcat were built for American oilman Seymour E Cox to compete for the Gordon Bennett Cup races. In the diagram, especially, the Texas Wildcat looks very modern. The Wright racer looks less modern.
