New Pastor -- November 6, 2016

Last Sunday Father Lu, who has been our administrator for a couple of years, was installed as our pastor at Good Shepherd in Pacifica.  I'm happy.  Archbishop Salvatore Cordilione visited the school the week before, and presided at the installation at the 10am mass.  There was a good crowd.  A large group of priests attended, including Father Lu's friend, retired Bishop Jesus Cabrera, who often visits Good Shepherd.  Father Lu was the first priest ordained by Bishop Cabrera. People in the parish also surprised Father Lu by bringing his family over. 

This week, they read a letter from the Archbishop after mass.  He was impressed by the kids at the school, especially the Eighth graders.  He complimented their critical thinking.
