The Giants' strange season is over. They were in contention until the 60th and last game, but didn't make the playoffs. A lot of people hated Gabe Kapler early in the season, but many came to see that he got a lot out of somewhat limited material. The cardboard cutouts of fans will now go back to their cardboard homes.
