Shenandoah Docks With an Oiler -- August 8, 2024

The USS Shenandoah (ZR-1) was the US Navy's first Zeppelin, a rigid form of airship. 100 years ago today, on 08-August-1924, Shenandoah docked with a mast which had been installed on the oiler USS Patoka.
