Starting in 1969, DC's Our Fighting Forces featured The Losers, a team made up of war comic characters who had lost their own series.  Gunner and Sarge were Marines who had appeared in Our Fighting Forces.  Their dog, Pooch, did not join the team.  Johnny Cloud was a Navajo from the Army Air Forces, had appeared in All-American Men of War.  He was an ace.  Captain Storm, a Naval officer, had his own title.  The Losers were killed off in 1985.
