The 15-September-1919 issue of
Aerial Age Weekly featureda Glenn L Martin Company ad for the Martin Bomber. The Martin MB-1 was the first American designed and built heavy bomber. I have always liked its appearance. The Army Air Service used 10 MB-1s and the Navy and Marine Corps used 10, designated MBT or MT, as torpedo bombers.
