1926 Mercedes-Benz Model K Transformable Torpedo -- September 21, 2016

We visited the Blackhawk Museum in June, 2013 to drool over their collection of classic autos.  The 1926 Mercedes-Benz Model K Transformable Torpedo is a supercharged roadster designed by Ferdinand Porsche.  The coachworkd of this example is by Jacques Seoutchik Carrosserie of Paris.  It is called a transformable torpedo because the top disappears behind the rear seat.
