The Northwestern Pacific -- and its predecessors -- has always been one of my favorite railroads. Every year the NWP published
Vacation, "a handbook of summer resorts along the line of the Northwestern Pacific Railroad." The NWP was the way people from San Francisco reached the resorts along the Russian River. This ad is from the 24-June-1913
