Direct From Indianapolis Motor Speedway -- May 29, 2013
This ad, from the 17-July-1913 Tulsa Daily World, announces upcoming auto races at the Tulsa Fair Grounds. Pictured is the 290 horsepower Jay-Eye-See, built by the Case Company and named after a racehorse which in turn was named after the Case Company's founder, Jerome Increase Case. The Jay-Eye-See was driven by Louis Disbrow, a prominent American racer. I like the streamlined front end of the car. Other cars included the Simplex Zip and the Red Dragon.
