Waterless Knox #12 -- October 16, 2010

The Waterless (air-cooled) Knox automobile was manufactured in Springfield, Massachusetts. I like the name Waterless Knox. It reminds me of a Doctor Seuss character. This ad for the Model H is from the 24-March-1907 New York Sun. It says "You can tour on the hottest day of a tropical summer" but "you cannot overheat the Model 'H'."

The Giants beat the Phillies 4-3 in the first game of the National League Championship series. It was not the pitching duel people kept talking about. The 9th inning was very stressful. I'm happy.
