Happy Fathers' Day #3 -- June 20, 2010


Happy Fathers' Day to all my fellow fathers. I miss my dad.
Darren McGavin's "Old Man" in Jean Shepherd's A Christmas Story is one of my favorite movie dads.

    I rather favor Wiliam Powell in Life with Father--although I wouldn't want to live with him!

    Tinky: My next choice would have been William Powell. He was more of a fun father in the Thin Man movies. We watched "Life with Father" again last night. A wonderful movie.
